Today, I am going to talk to you about Gillian Gamble, an artist I discovered recently. I fell in love with her art so she is today’s featured artist.
Gillian Gamble is an illustrator and story writer from Dundee, Scotland, now living in County Durham. She loves adventures, wandering, riding on public transport to people-watch, bright colors, cold North Sea air, big questions she can’t answer and just lying outside looking up at the clouds or stars and wondering what it’s all about. She also has a thing for bobble hats.
Her art is colorful and magical. Gillian’s illustrations mostly feature children and animals in imaginary settings. Her work speaks of dreams, adventures, and searching for the “big picture”.
I love her colorful whimsical style! It resonates with me on a deep level. I find myself wishfully dreaming of adventures whenever I look at it.
